Reading for 20 minutes a day = 3,600 minutes in a school year = 60 hours
Reading for 5 minutes a day = 900 minutes in a school year = 15 hours
Reading for 1 minute a day = 180 minutes in a school year = 3 hours

Why not take advantage of what your local library has to offer?
There are currently 18 libraries across Caerphilly County Borough Council. These libraries can offer you the tools needed to create, learn and explore. They give you access to books and services, and provide a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Borrowing books
At your local library, you can:
- borrow books to read and return.
- borrow E-books and audiobooks through the BorrowBox app.
- reserve or order a book to borrow, read and return.
Other services
Whilst there, you can:
- take part in various activities during school holidays and on weekends.
- use the computers to browse the internet, research and complete homework, and more, completely free of charge!
