What is BorrowBox?<\/h6><\/div>

The BorrowBox service is a digital platform offering e-book and e-audiobook titles to public library users to download and read or listen to. <\/span><\/big>There are currently over 36,000 titles available to library users in Wales, which includes fiction & non-fiction books for adults, young people and children in over 35 languages.<\/span><\/big><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

How do you use it?<\/h6><\/div>

The titles can be downloaded onto a computer or mobile device, including iPhone, iPad, Android, Android Tablet and Kindle Fire, for limited borrowing periods. <\/span>To use this service you must be based in the UK and be a registered member at a participating Welsh library. If you are already a library member, you can either register either with Borrowbox by<\/span><\/big><\/p>\n

    You will need a PIN number from your local library to register with Borrowbox (you can visit, e-mail or phone the library to obtain the PIN). <\/span>Get the app now from the App Store and Google Play and start borrowing, downloading and enjoying e-books and e-audiobooks today.<\/span><\/big><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

    Your library\u2019s BorrowBox website and app is available in Welsh.<\/span><\/big><\/p>\n

    To switch to the Welsh version of the BorrowBox website, simply select \u2018Welsh\u2019 from the language option drop-down menu in the top right-hand side of the screen.<\/span><\/big><\/p>\n

    To switch to the Welsh version of the BorrowBox app, just use the \u2018Language\u2019 link found within the app \u2018Settings\u2019. (For Apple devices, you may need to ensure that you have first installed Welsh language support which is quick and simple to do. Just follow these instructions<\/a>.)<\/span><\/big><\/p>\n
